I WANT TO EXCHANGE OR RETURN MY BAG, HOW DO I DO THIS?

AN ITEM I WANT IS SOLD OUT, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE BEFORE IT’S BACK IN STOCK?
Because all our product are handmade, it takes (sometimes) a little longer before they are back in stock. We strive to get your favorite bag back in stock as soon as possible, usually this takes about 2 weeks. You can leave your email address on the productpage, then you will receive an email when it is back in stock.
CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER AFTER IT HAS BEEN PLACED?
Unfortunately it is not possible to change your order in our system after placing it. However, you can send an email to email@example.com with all the details. If the order is not processed yet, we can see what we can do. Unfortunately there is no guarantee that an order can always be changed.
I DID NOT RECEIVE AN ORDER CONFIRMATION, WHAT NOW?
Is the amount debited from your account and do you have 100% sure no confirmation in your email? (Check your spam folder!!) Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will check it with you.
WHAT IS THE DELIVERY TIME OF MY ORDER?
We strive to deliver all orders within 1-2 working days. With the exception of holidays etc.
WHAT IS THE BEST CARE FOR MY BAGSTRAP/BAG?
We always recommend to spray / lubricate the product with a leather care and / or water repellent product. You can repeat this process once every six months for the best care. When the bag has lost its dark colour a little, we advise you to carefully rub it in with a leather wax. Don’t have this in the house? Then you can also go for sunflower oil. Afterwards, put the bag on an (old) newspaper and dab it well after 24 hours with kitchen paper.
MY PRODUCT HAS BEEN DELIVERED DAMAGED/BROKEN/WRONG, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
First of all, our apologies! Of course, that’s not the intention. Send an email as soon as possible to email@example.com with all the details (possibly pictures of the damaged product) and we will pick it up as soon as possible.
WHAT ARE THE WARRANTY CONDITIONS AND THE WARRANTY PERIOD?
On an item purchased through the webshop of STRAP Amsterdam we have a warranty period of 3 months after purchase.
The following complaints are not covered by the warranty:
1. Exceptional wear and tear
2. Damage due to negligence
3. Water, fall or impact wear
4. Breaking the lock/handle by overfilling the bag
HELP! THERE’S A COIN/STONE/STUD FROM MY BAGSTRAP/BAG. WHAT DO I DO NOW?
No problemo! Fortunately, we have the solution. Send us an email and we’ll send you the coin/stone/stud together with a step-by-step plan on how to fix it.
HELP! MY BAGSTRAP/BAG EMITS COLOUR. WHAT NOW?
Because all our products are handmade and painted, it can sometimes happen that a little residual paint remains on the bag. You can easily (and carefully) rub this off with an old cloth or t-shirt. Possibly you can use a little vinegar for this. Afterwards, always spray the bag well again with a water repellent spray!
I’M SUPER HAPPY WITH THE BAG, BUT A LITTLE LESS WITH THE SMELL. WHAT DO I DO ABOUT IT?
All our bags (and accessories) are handmade from real cowhide leather. Because of this they also smell like real leather. The best thing you can do is use the bag as much as possible, take it outside a lot. Outside air is good to reduce the smell. In addition, you can fill the bag and pack it with paper, put it all in a sealed bag or even better cardboard box and leave it there for 24 hours. Paper has the ability to absorb (unpleasant) odors. You can repeat this process until you are satisfied.
